Official Rules for The Roofing Guys FREE Roof Giveaway

1. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.

2. Contest begins March 1st, 2018 and ends April 18th, 2018

3. The prize consists of a new roof replacement, to be performed by The Roofing Guys

Inc, Syracuse NY. Prize may not be transferable or substituted for cash.

4. To enter, log on to www.theroofingguyscny.com and complete the nomination form

and tell us why your friend or family member deserves to have a new roof installed on

their home. Entrants certify that they or the person they are nominating is at least 18

years old, is a U.S. resident and is the homeowner at the property that is being

considered for this promotion. Entries can also be mailed to 3570 Walters Road

Syracuse NY 13209. Deadline for entries is April 18, 2018.

5. Winner will be selected by The Roofing Guys, based on originality, creativity, and

personal circumstances and will be highlighted on their Facebook page and their

website.

6.The determination of the winner is solely in the judgement of The Roofing Guys and

will be made available on May 1, 2018.

7. Nominee must be owner of property in question and must provide documentation

proving ownership.

8. Property must be within Onondaga County.

9. House/structure must be in working order, such as sufficient structural support, free

of mold, free of asbestos, etc.

10. Current resident must be occupying home.

11. All material, color, will be purchased and chosen by The Roofing Guys.

12. Winner agrees to hold harmless The Roofing Guys, its contractors, its co-sponsors

from any liability or inconvenience in relation to any aspect of this promotion, in

perpetuity, and will sign a release form before work is to begin on their home.

13. Winner agrees to have his or her home available for roofing construction work at a

time acceptable to The Roofing Guys. Winner agrees to abide by all standard customer

requirements set forth by The Roofing Guys.

14. The Company is not responsible for mechanical, technical, electronic,

communications, telephone, computer, hardware or software errors, malfunctions or

failures of any kind, including: failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed transmission of

online entries, the Internet or at any website or lost or unavailable network connections

which may limit an online entrant’s ability to participate in the Contest, and any injury or

damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from

participating in or downloading any information necessary to participate in the Contest.

15. Entrants understand that by entering the contest, they are permitting sponsor to

come on their property for assessment thereof. In order to receive the prize,

participants must sign a publicity release. By entering contest, entrants give right to

sponsor to publish a photo of their property with their story on any media source used to

promote the program, without compensation and have a publicity event on the property

at the conclusion of the project. I understand that, during the course of my participation

in the “Free Roof Giveaway” Program, The Roofing Guys and those acting with the

permission or authority of The Roofing Guys Free Roof Giveaway, may capture my

name, likeness, image, or voice in photographic, audio, video, digital or other forms

(“Media”). I recognized that all Media – including film, photographic prints, audio, video

or digital files, including those photos submitted with my nomination – become the

exclusive property of The Roofing Guys Free Roof Giveaway. In addition, I hereby

permit The Roofing Guys and those acting with the Free Roof Giveaway, permission or

authority, to use my name and Media in materials available to existing and potential

customers, staff and individuals within the community, including in publicity or

promotional materials for the Free Roof Giveaway. I hereby waive any right to inspect or

approve: (a) the finished Media, (b) any printed matter that may be used in conjunction

with the Media, or (c) the eventual use to which the Media may be applied. I waive all

right to compensation, royalties and damages, including all claims in tort, defamation,

right to privacy or right of publicity claims. By entering the contest I release on behalf of

myself and all of my minor children who may be participating in The Roofing Guys Free

Roof Giveaway.

This agreement constitutes the sole, complete, and exclusive agreement regarding the

Media, and I am not relying on any other representation, whether oral or written.
